I Try To Write You

I try to write you…but impossible to recite you the words
from underneath this blanket of desire that like fire burns for you…
a flame impossible to tame, only burns wilder when you touch me.
I whisper your name to let my soul proclaim
that you’re forever engraved into my heart…
you jump-start my life with a single look
and that smile, oh my god, that smile that heals,
that reveals the innocence of our love
carved into words, songs, smiley faces, random places….
leaving traces of us everywhere we go.
