I Try

I try to be your friend.
It wont work.
I try to look at you and smile.
You just glare at me.
I try to think of you as my best friend.
 You hate me.
I try walk next to you,
you push me away.
I try to see you in the way  you are,
you take my eyes away.
I try to ignore you,
you make that impossible.
I try to avoid you,
you push my purposely.
I try not to let words hurt me,
you just make yours fiercer.
I try to stop your words,
but they hit me like a slap in the face.
Have you ever heard the saying,
sticks and stones may brake your bones,
but words will never hurt you?
Its all a lie.
Words touch your heart,
they touch your feelings,
and they touch YOU.
