I Trust Him
I'm continuously putting my heart to the test,
For reasons people don't understand, yet I see fit best,
I can see underneath certain things others don't care to see,
My sight is complex and I can't share everything,
I would love to explain the reasons why,
But there's so many details it hurts my eyes,
I sometimes wish my brain was more simple,
And less sensitive to a crowd of people,
Because I feel so much I sometimes want to hide,
But I push myself back out there every time,
I pray before I walk out the door,
That God only gives me what my heart can endure,
To give me his armor every day,
And cover me and protect me in all of his ways,
And when I'm overwhelmed I lay it down at his feet,
And I won't move until he's leading me,
