I Tried
I tried to show you how much I loved you
But it wasn’t enough for you so see
And you didn’t even bother to try
I tried so hard to prove myself to you
That I can be a better person
But everything that I did wasn’t big enough for you to be proud of
I tried to express my true feelings
But my voice wasn’t calm enough for you to be proud of
I wasn’t making enough sense in your eyes
I tried to please you
But every thing I did wasn’t to your standards
Non of it was good enough
