I Took Them

I took my meds one night. The vegetables on the counter. Are easier to prepare into a meal now. I used to throw everything away. They all ran away. Things that normally can’t run. Did anyway. I took my meds one night. I slept. I was sleepy. Then I don’t remember much. Morning is one of those things. They try to make us eat breakfast. I drank coffee. And it was good. Less frantic. Less shaking as I poured. Fewer tears. I took my meds one night. They did what they did inside of me. Pills are always… Perfectly shaped. I took my meds one night. And they dissolved inside of me.
