I Think of You

I think of you when fall is in the air, remembering that warm September night I reveled in your long and tender stare. Those kisses! Why can’t anything compare to then? Now even stars seem not as bright! I think of you when Fall is in the air - remembering that warm September night. For the "I Think Of You" Poetry Contest of gautami phookan

A beauty Andrea, wishing you the best for Gautami's contest as well. Love the form you used. About my book I think I did a blog on here that time. It is called 'whispers from my soul" and yes I went the self publishing route :)

Oft times a word or smell or my surrounds will trigger memories of a moment of love and joy from my past. They seem still so bright yet again they will shortly fade as the memory drifts on. Your poem is lovely Andrea. Thank you. And good luck in the competition my friend. Love Shane xxx

This has such a nostalgic feeling of romance, Andrea , and I just LOVE your triolets. Sometimes I hit and sometimes I miss with this form. I have yet to get inspired by this one, and I think I'm running out of time...maybe later. Hugs, Rhonda

Wonderful words. You have captured a warm sense of fond longing. A pleasure to read. Best of luck in the contest. Shame you were not able to come up with something for my Ants comp. I would still be interested in what you would be able to come up on the theme, if inspiration ever hits.
