I think I wish I would


All the things
 I think I wish I would have said
Many times 
Many nights I stay awake with regret
I look into the future optimistically 
Hoping & praying
My eyes will eventually see
My dreams
My realizations every want & every yearn
The light 
The sliding path through every wrong turn
I seek knowledge philosopher 
Guiding, leading, leading & guiding
To where I think I wish I would have gone
