I Think He Is Emotionally Disturbed
I think he is emotionally disturbed. Can you talk to him?
Okay. what is he doing?
Saying no.
Okay.
To me! I’m the TEACHER!
Okay….
You need to see him on a regular basis, I think something is going on at home.
Have you spoken to his mother?
No.
You need to fix this; it is disturbing my class.
Okay.
You need to come down here right now.
All right, in a second.
It has to be now; I cannot get him to take his coat off.
I roll my eyes, glad this is a phone call, not in person.
I smile to myself, glad I am the school counselor,
Super hero to the rescue,
Helping children by rescuing them for a short time from their captors.
