I Think He Is Emotionally Disturbed

I think he is emotionally disturbed. Can you talk to him? Okay. what is he doing? Saying no. Okay. To me! I’m the TEACHER! Okay…. You need to see him on a regular basis, I think something is going on at home. Have you spoken to his mother? No. You need to fix this; it is disturbing my class. Okay. You need to come down here right now. All right, in a second. It has to be now; I cannot get him to take his coat off. I roll my eyes, glad this is a phone call, not in person. I smile to myself, glad I am the school counselor, Super hero to the rescue, Helping children by rescuing them for a short time from their captors.

"Helping children by rescuing them for a short time from their captors." I attended a catholic school; my captors were Nunns; talk about being imprisoned! If prisons had Nunns around, guilting and spanking prisoners for every word and act; prisoners would tow the line and get paroled earlier out of desperation! Great piece of poetry.

Thank you M.L. As you can imagine, I was enslaved by teachers as a child, and I have never gotten over it completely, which is why I have made a career out of rescuing the little ones.

I would be disturbed to have to deal with that teacher! ;P So glad you're able to 'balance out' some of the crazy of grown-ups like that!

I have to roll my eyes silently, and quietly, and secretly, and remember that not everyone built enough dendrites.

And so do some adults, Line. But I will not mention names as I have matured since yesterday.
