I Think About You

I woke up this morning and snoozed the clock, Rewound the dream, that seemed so true. And it came as no surprise, Yes, I dreamt about you. Your laughter still rang in my ears The look in your eyes, spoke of a life anew. That was the first time today, I thought about you. Stood in front of the mirror and watched myself awaken, Thought about the day ahead and the things to do I saw a smile play upon my lips I realized, I was thinking about you. Reached office and sat down to work Switched on my mind and laptop too It took a while for me to focus, I had to stop, thinking about you. Wrapped up my day and lit a smoke, Though tired, the dream came flashing through. And as I trudged back to my room I did nothing else, but think about you. Now as I sit to write about today, I look outside and see the sky turn to midnight blue, There’s no doubt whats running in my mind, You guessed it right, I am thinking about you!!!
