I shield myself from
impending 
darkness
putting on glasses
each day

I TAKE AIM

I nourish your dreams
with meals of
desire
through doorways
appeal

I TAKE AIM

I dress in layers of
surrogate flames
inert
searching empty
places

I TAKE AIM
