I Surrender All

May the Lord’s shining light, Guide you through the darkest of nights, When you are in that valley so low, And don’t know which way to go. May you know the peace that He has planned only for you, In your days filled with turmoil, He is there to guide you through. With peace in your heart and love in your eye, Placed there by the Master when only we try. Surrender is not bad when we surrender to Him, But a new way of life, to Him you are the most precious of gems. His love is the greatest gift that you can ever receive, All it takes is a simple thing called faith and the will to believe. So when you feel lost and alone, troubled and weak, Defeat has left you feeling humble, saddened, and bleak, Just call out His name and lay your burdens at His feet, Then you’ll know why the taste of surrender is so precious and sweet.

I like this poem of yours calles i surrender all, we sing a song in church with the same title, I surrender all too, I enjoyed reading it again, a great message of surrendering all to him every day this is going on my faves God bless you from diane

thanks for your kind comments Ron on my poem you're all we need, thats what I meant we dont need things on earth Jesus is all we need, we comeinto the word with nothing but we can go out of it with the Lord so great, it's far greater to be rich in love if we have God's Grace that's all we need, thanks again my dear frined God bless you from diane

Oh when we can just take this to heart and do it. We surrender for a moment and then take it back. Great write. Thank you for commenting on my heat poem. I am in Stockton Ca..We have been hitting 100+ these last few days also. Thank God for the breeze when it comes through.

How right you are, dearest John. So many times I have stumbled searching for the right path. When I turn my life over to God and say, "Please tell me what it is you want me to do," I always sense His blessings immediately.
