I Sung For Her

I was never short of words for her From the tip of my tongue to the back of my mind The words were never enough or far Phrases, emotions and meanings couldn’t describe her kind The romance was once a long dance to love songs Floating on the dance floor with no attention paid to the audience My songs blew strong winds of kisses that plucked roses If love was noises, loneliness was silence I was not saying enough if I was not singing I was always humming as my mind fetched words I climbed to the peaks of the songs to revel the greatest feeling Of a love that shines like it’s at the world’s stage
