I Struggle

I struggle with not forgetting your touch I struggle with still wanting you so much. My mind is like a scratched CD Making it to the point of forgetting Then skipping back to you and me. I struggle with not forgetting it felt so right I struggle with wanting to hold you tight. My life is like an active whirlpool Circling, churning, going no where The hole empty waiting for you to make it full. I struggle with my thoughts always ending at you I struggle with a fantasy of hearing you say “I love you too”. My day is like a roller coaster ride Hearing your voice making my spirits rise Then, free fall back to the reality that you’re not by my side. I struggle I miss you.
