I Still Love You
I love you, and always will
You loved me once but that was only thrill:
For you went and left me for another,
To fend for myself and let my feelings smother.
We were best friends, but that was changed,
When you told me you didn’t want to feel deranged,
Because your other thought we were together,
And your other wanted to be forever
With you, without me,
I still don't know why, you allowed that to be.
And now, my heart has ached, I have moved on,
For you left me, and tossed me like a baton.
So with my ending words I say,
I love you, and still do, to this very day.
