I Started My Day This Way
As the morning light arose on this beautiful day,
I could not stay, in bed and play, but instead??
I rose and Prayed to God This way:
My Glorious Heavenly Father:
I Thank you for the first conscious breathe I took,
And the eyes that I gently opened to see and look.
For the ears that are used to help me hear,
And for your promising word that keeps my head clear.
I Thank you for the wisdom that denies me from being dumb,
also the lessons I've learned and blessings from it yet to come.
Oh Lord, Thanks for the awesome and overwhelming love in my heart,
that allows me to feel like you've given me each day a brand new start.
Thank you father for your endless Mercy and undeserving Grace,
And most definitely for your son Jesus, who died in my place.
May you continue to guide my steps in your WILL, not my own,
For it was my will that kept me in trouble, confused, lost and alone.
May you continue to watch over those I Love. And for those I dislike please lend
Your spirit of forgiveness in ME, ...In JESUS NAME I PRAY ....AMEN
