I Stand Alone

I stand alone
All all alone
Deep in the valley of darkness

The elements of nature
The wind and its fury
Are all centering in on me

The clouds that have formed here
Are black and forbidding
They have centered above on my head

The thunder and lightning
Is thrashing and striking
And scaring me half to my death

The rain has been pounding
Without any mercy
And ripping my skin into threads

The mountains around me
They are moving in closer
And I can’t see any way out

The air that I’m breathing
Gets thicker and thicker
And I feel like I’m grasping for breath

I feel so alone
I am so alone
There is no-one here that can help
