I speak without saying a word, sharing my forevermore grief; written letters float like a leaf. Each second flies away a bird, my mind has a thousand places; for all my life masks and faces. I repeat the seconds unheard, the endless pain I am holding; the sad grief I keep unfolding. The rooms within my mind are scarred, my inner voices are at war; although words, words and words I pour. Forevermore my pain is stirred, how can a second last for life; and without end stab like a knife. I speak without saying a word, each second flies away a bird; I repeat the seconds unheard, the rooms within my mind are scarred; forevermore my pain is stirred. ____________________________ February 6, 2020 Poetry/Rhyme/I Speak Without Words Copyright Protected, ID 20-1223-642-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France

Beautiful, poignant penning, D.H. Highly stylized pain and agony. Hurts just to read it. That bird -- sigh... Warm wishes, Gershon
