I Speak To You So Often
I speak to you so often
But they are words you'll never hear
Sadly, you'll never get them
For that you'd need to be near
I speak to you so often
Quietly under trees of green
Moments I would have shared
I want to show you all that I have seen
I speak to you so often
In the fields where once our steps fell
Spaces where we secretly loved
Looking around nobody could tell
I speak to you so often
As the waves lap against my feet
Watching sunsets alone
Doomed to never be complete
I speak to you so often
As I run the trails alone
No more kissing at each mile
My love for you has only grown
I speak to you so often
Words of love just for you
They are words you'll never get
How often, I wish you only knew
