I Smiled Ct

I smiled when I’ve gone for a drink
Sitting on a couch for some tunes
I smiled when I’d no time to think
Because of last-minute fortunes

Pity I had no time to greet
The gleaming bright light on your teeth
My sight was never left behind
By the guest with her child in mind

I smiled when you’ve watched me perform
I smiled when you’ve killed these perils
I smiled when you’ve read my profile
I smiled when you’ve kept me in peace

Therefore, I have no dark regrets
Of playing those grateful poets

Mark, this made me (LOL). Unfortunately the format was off or it would have placed higher. Thanks for entering my contest and congratulations on your placement. All the best...Charlie

Mark your third stanza should have been a re work of your first stanza, if you read Charlie's example it is much clearer what he wanted
