I Smile But I Hurt Inside

I smile but I hurt inside

It's the only thing that I hide

My life is an open book

You can peek and take a look

People treat me differently

They don't see the pain inside of me

Crying on my bed

Wishing I could laugh instead

Life deals us a bad hand

But everything goes according to God's plan

Build your house on the Rock and not the sand

Hold on to the Saviour's hand

Trust Him, He knows what He is doing

Your tears His heart is moving

So chill and rest and be at perfect peace

Coz He'll grant you a sweet relief

Well written. Was able to follow you throughout. You told your story ina nut shell. You gave comfort at the end to anyone experiencing the same emotional stress. Thanks for sharing, hugs, Rainbow.
