I Sit In My Leaf Sea Happy

I sit in my leaf sea
relishing in their acceptance
of whatever comes next.

I sit under a gray sky,
pondering her unwavering confidence,
blowing to her own music.

I sit in my chair
watching a happy dog whose head
is on my knee, a terrific day.
