I Sing To You
I Sing To You
I sing to you secretly
in wakefulness and in sleep
in my imaginings and my dreaming
in the silent beating of my heart
I sing to you silently
in stillness when I pray
in every day and night
in the whispering of my heart
I sing to you my song
in all the moments of my life
in happiness or sadness
that echoes through my soul
I sing to you a song
not in words that have sound
just the stirrings and raging
that is happening within my soul
