I Should Be In Dc

I can’t sleep I should be in DC I can’t close my eyes I should be among their rallying cries I can’t rest my head I should be marching there, with them I should be beside the chains and gates By the pepper spray and mace By the ones taken away By the students and the nurses By drivers, servants, poor and workers Where anger and hope lay wake something’s being born today I can’t sleep I should be in DC
