I See You

Daddy I see you walking proud across the floor
The Navy uniform you have on is bright and I see you walk out the door,

You always had a smile on your face when ever you left for work to make a living
I admired you daddy for your hard work and always giving,

The way in which you looked at life and how you wore that uniform proud
Everyday was a gift to have you as our Dad and yet now we don't see you for all the white clouds,

Now I see you daddy up in heaven among all our loved ones and smiling down on us
Someday we will all be with you again and I know that in God we trust.
