I See the Raindrops

I see the raindrops
As if they were tears falling
For the sorrow of the world.
The blackness of evil tries
To cause dispair
For all of the inhabitants,
Their smiles fade
And their laughter is
Nonexistent
In this future time.
Though a small shimmer
Of hope may shine
Through the clouds
Of emotion,
Hope isn't in the hearts
Of the humans anymore.
This lonely earth will
Be destroyed
Unless...
They bring forth the love
That once was.
