I See Tears Spelling Out My Name

I wake up but everyone is rushing all around?

I ask questions but no answers can be found

I sleep again and dreams fill my mind

I wake again in a place of no time

I see the tears and the pain she is in

I can't get through to her and the light is quite dim

I wake again hearing her crying my name

I know that things will never be the same again

I see myself in a box made from wood

I say goodbye to the body in which I once stood

I realise I'm no longer part of her in these lands

I realise that I'm gone by the wringing of her hands

I see tears spelling out my name

I now don't know what to do

I'm here alone with you

I watch you sleep when exhaustion sets in

I watch you breathe in the quiet of the dark

I watch you fight the pain of a broken heart

I'm helpless now, I feel such a fool

I didn't get to say goodbye to you.....
