I See Life

the cold air
wisping through my hair
snow covering the ground
no life but animals surround
the moose making their tracks
their beauty on edge which they do not lack
a man standing looking wants food but can't
for his pride he can not hide as he hears a bear pant
the trees covering the land
as the joy brings a tear to my hand
oh how i wish to be like this forever
just me and the wild all together
i am gone now the snow hides
till again i will soon see life

Here it is Sunday and the begining of a new week is upon us. And August is leaving us way to soon. I am enjoying reading such excellent poems today and am happy to see your poetry among them Autumn. May your pen forever flow. Love, Carol
