I See Into the Night
I see into the night
I see into the night
falling with thousand filaments,
of a fine-spun cocoon,
and covering
the stars with abandoned fire.
I see you,
dark as the night
your hair.
Your eyes a living fire.
I see you, how you embrace the night
with your steps,
enhaling the fresh air,
brought by a summer rain.
I see in your hair
reflecting lights,
being a starry night itself.
The cool night carries silence
and desire.
I have to look at you,
to listen to your soft voice,
feeling you close to me,
knowing that you 're not far.
