I See Beyond On the Road To Ruin
You make your own life difficult and hard
when it all depends on the turn of a card.
A point and immediate seven is not nice.
Money is squandered with a pair of dice.
Shame and regret you do not feel.
You continue to bet at the roulette wheel.
Become a partner in the loser’s dance
each time you take a frivolous chance.
Uncertainty and ambivalence is what one finds.
How does one journey without direction signs?
The outcomes at wagering leave you with chagrin.
You have traveled a distance on the road to ruin.
