I Search For Frog Sounds

entering between
two lily pads and pausing. . .
a small dragonfly

in and out of view
the dragonfly flits four times. . .
darkness following

I search for frog sounds
to go with the lily pads
of my cell phone’s screen

Ribbit, ribbit, the frog did say. It's nice to see you this fine day. And if that dragonfly comes near. I'm going to nibble on it's little ear.

I have to read the Haiku more than twice to find the connection from beginning to end. Were you looking for a unique photo for your cellular phone? I'm sure you will bag a prize on this! Love Dalila

Ha ha, those are quite the funny lines Andrea, "to go with the lily pads, of my cell phone's screen" as you never really went out into nature at all to look for these sounds...shame shame! I really enjoyed this poem that I have read this evening! This is a fantastic write my friend! I love this poem very much! Great Work! (I'm Back)
