What if there was gold at the end of the rainbow?
I Saw the Greatest Rainbow
By Franklin Price

I saw the greatest Rainbow
It was just the other day.
The end of it so close to me,
I heard the guard there say.
“I am the rainbow leprechaun.
I'm here to guard the gold.
It's here for you to claim it,
If you choose to be so bold.”
I moved a little closer,
Until I saw the one I heard,
Dressed all in green and three feet tall,
Looked nothing like a nerd.
And resting there beside him
Was a pot so full of gold
Was more than I expected
More than I was ever told
I said, “Surprise, I've come and found you
I'm here to claim the pot.
Before the rainbow goes away
Give me everything you've got.”
He said, “I must admit you've got me.
Take the pot and go away.
I'm sending a 1099
To the IRS today.”
