I Saw Real Ghost

Was coming back from market one night
Unfortunately there were no street light
Saw an old lady sitting on top of a car
Her face was wrinkled without a scar
She had thick, long, shining silver hair
With piercing eyes at me she did stare
I walked fast without turning back
Felt she was following me behind my back
Reaching home I was in tear
My whole body shook in fear
An old lady that too atop a car
It was indeed bizarre
Was she a ghost? Am not sure
But I did see her, I am sure

Note: A real happening.

Rama, I believe you. I saw a ghost at Monmouth University and later learned one professor and many other students had seen the same spirit. Enjoyed your poem! Congratulations on your win! Best wishes, Carolyn

Rama, that really was a "spooky" experience. No wonder you can describe it with so much vivid detail! Thank you for sharing!
