I Saw It All
i was there,
i saw it all,
i saw my dog,
and i saw the knife.
i saw the man
and i saw his smirk.
then i saw the boiling water,
and i saw the the crowd.
i heard the yelp.
i heard the cry.
i heard the man's laughter,
and i heard a sigh.
i saw the knife digging in.
and i heard the dog plead again.
that is my dog that is laying their,
and its still alive,
but his fur is over there.
its alive! Its still alive!
its' ears are gone,
and so is its' tail.
why?! How?! can a man be so cruel.
i saw its' face,
i saw its' eyes,
i saw its' body,
and i heard its' cries.
its' eyes are blinking!
Its' feet are moving!
its' still alive!
that's my dog!
that's my dog!
Its a block of meat no fur is left,
but its still alive.
i saw the man lift it up.
i saw the tears rolling down my dogs face.
i saw its body splash in the boiling pot.
then i heard the last yelp.
how could anybody be so cruel.
that was my dog.
it had feelings too.
