I Saw Her Only Yesterday

I saw her only yesterday. She was as lovely as she's ever been. And happy. And, as I do each time we meet, I tried to imprint on my memory everything I saw and heard that is her. We had coffee and talked, about me, about her. And about the man she loves and whether she will marry him. We touched a little while we talked and kissed when we said goodbye. She said she loved me and I said I loved her then watched her leave, wondering if I would ever see her again.

It is getting difficult for me to find new poems of yours. Of that other favorite list of yours. Do you recall one of them I had missed seeing?

nope, REd, I don't learn my lesson with my sun god!!! But I keep away from him between 10 am and 2 in the afternoon and only have time to go out these busy days maybe twice a week at the most in summertime.

Beautiful, my friend, as only you could pen it. Don't wonder whether you'd see her again. Think positively and chances are you'd meet up again. I'm seriously rooting for you. :) Licia
