I Saw God, But Now What Poetry Contest, Sponsor - Unseeking Seeker. Date written: 04/16/2024

Once faithless; hopelessly trapped in isolating darkness, I began searching for God, and he came to me in prayer. He whispers to me... "Do not be afraid; take my hand"... Lost with no way to turn, I sought refuge in the Lord. He led me out of the darkness and bathed me with his resplendent light. He took my despair and gave me hope. After regaining my spiritual balance; my faith in him, restored and stronger than ever... Never again will it waver. Now I believe there's a power greater than myself. After God's gift of salvation, I'll never stray from him... again.

This is so powerful and soulfully moving dear EI! What a brilliant take on this prompt, how one found light and it gave me goosebumps as i read “ He whispers to me... "Do not be afraid; take my hand"...“ felt that! Best wishes for the contest
