Notes About The Poem

I saw God but now what?

Quote:"God has no religion." — Mahatma Gandhi

I have seen God, but what comes next?
In dreams, in strife, or a soul perplexed?
Amidst desires for riches, family, contentment rife,
I question if God's presence is truly life.

My mind's been washed with divine imagery,
Yet faith alone keeps God within our see.
Not in distant heavens does God reside,
But within, where contentment does abide.

Some recruit young minds with promises of heaven's gleam,
But I ask, why not lead the way, fulfill your dream?
For heaven lies not in the afterlife's embrace,
But in souls at peace, in love's gentle grace.
