I Saw God But Now What

As smoothly
As errant sunshine
I saw him
As he disappeared
Behind a tree
Watched
As he crept across
The sky line
A peeping tom
Dancing amid the high rise
Windows
Of lost souls
I saw him melt
A bearded snowman
Watched spring
Fill its empty hat
With rain
To cool
The roses blush
I saw him walking
In the midst of those
Who cannot see
And smiled
He smiled back.

Couldn't agree with you more, John... Who'd you say is your optometrist??
