I Saw a Woman With No Hair
I saw a woman with no hair
Thank God that was not me
But I would gladly have gone bare
If that would let me be.
I know how it feels to hear the word
It shakes you to your very soul
But once your fear’s surrendered
You must face it, and make a goal.
You will do what you must as you
Survive to see another day
And as your journey you go thru
We’ll cheer you all along the way.
And when your fight is finally won
We will then gather every year
Those who survived will join the run
For those who lost, we’ll shed a tear.
It’s a heavy challenge to be met
Just know that you are not alone
Your courage we will not forget
When a bare head is proudly shown.
