I Rub My Hands Against This Wall

I rub my hands against this wall

violence these days seems very tall.

as far as I can see

as far as I can reach

why can we not show love,

and say no to guns using

them for evil things

this to one and all

we must strongly teach.

I rub my hands against this wall

it only bring more sadness

and in the end our nation well fall.

young child and teens,

killing of old people to

do you know what I mean?

God there and then here

parents of love ones

are screaming out

please Jesus don't you care?

I rub my hands against this wall

look there blood from innocent people

running down the cracks

and we try to say softly

we will not stand for more

of that!

Stand with me please

all nations of different languages

and color and faith.

Let us pray together to make

this world a safer place.

AS

I rub my hands against this wall.

Very moving poem. In fact we all share this prayer and frustration...
