I Remember You
Love, I’ve never stopped looking for you,
never became disenchanted with your allure.
For in dreams...I have seen your lucid eyes
as you tenderly sang me to sleep.
And because this is so, how can I turn from this quest.
You’re the only one who take’s my breath away
and if I could have anything...it would be you.

I wish you could see me sheathed in my loneliness
I’d suffer life’s bitter disappointments and cracked hearts.
for just one brief moment in your presence…
for any signs or remnants that you are within reach.
Love, I beg of you…lead me to a sky that’s wide enough
that I may bask beneath your shine... I could settle for this.
Until then, I am but a silent seeker in a fevered moment...
with an open heart that still remembers you<\em>
