I REMEMBER WHEN
I remember when
I was young
Excited and had my
Whole life ahead of me
Not knowing that pain
Would find me
I remember when
I was an adult and
Went through the
Struggles of trying to
Find my place in life
Not knowing that hardship
Would find me
I'm a senior now that
Looked in the mirror
At myself, one day and saw my
Mother's face, and wondered
Where did time go
