I Remember

I remember the time when I was a little boy
I had lots of toys, but they were all broken
Who broke my toys
Maybe they just got too old and useless
Who broke my toys
Maybe I didn't take care of them like I should
Who broke my toys
Maybe the wind of time came and that's what happens
Who broke my toys
That is a question that moves through time
Now I remember who broke my toys
It was I because I have no replacement
I was poor living in the country
My grandmother and I
My dad and mom nowhere to be found
My toys got old and no money to replace
Now I remember, now I remember
I broke my toys, I broke my toys.
