I Remember

As I sit on the sand wondering
Watching the sun fading and leaving
I remember the days of my life,
Full of hopes, full of hate and regret.

I remember all the hopes and dreams,
And every failures that made me scream.
I remember all the prayers I’ve made
That all those dreams may come to be.

I remember all the guilt and hate
The fear, anguish and wrath I create.
I remember every curses I made
For he left when I need shoulder to lean.

I remember all of those regrets,
All those times when I barely breath.
I remember all the painful desolation
The tears I cried in my solitude.

Now the moon rises and night has come,
The stars glow and the sea is calm.
I looked up and remember after all this time,
That He was there because I’m still here.
