I Remember

I remember days back in high school
Where I contemplated on different ways to approach you
I appeared mean, fierce, and tough to most
But only a select few that I was actually willing to fold to
I admit that you were in my top two
But whether you were number one or two, I wouldn’t tell you
A woman of pure beauty with various talents
Honestly, I believe that any man alive would love to hold you

The simplest form of a man's dream
I could say you have definitely met every characteristic to a tee
With your beautiful hair covering the dimples in your cheeks
I mean, really a sight for all deserving men to see
I used to enjoy to see you walk
And sit down in the room, which at the time seemed too far to speak
But I made a way, just so you would notice me
It turned out to be, me writing you some passionately sweet poetry
