I Remember

Through the gentle stirrings of the night
Your laughter flows
And I smile
I remember the love

Through the morning’s mirrored silhouette
Your eyes emerge
And I see
I remember the love

Through the muted billows in the sky
Your song arises
And I hear
I remember the love

Through the soothing breath of God upon my face
Your heart remains
And I feel
I remember the love
