I Relied On You
my eyes feel so heavy
my mind going numb
and for staying with you
i feel so dumb
what more can i say
about what i feel
how can this be true
how can this pain feel so real
how can these tears fall
so empty they are
how can you be so far away
when i need you to heal my heart
i relied on you
to mend my pain
i relied on you
to help me explain
i relied on you
to love me back
and yet the onyl tihng youdid
was with you words you attack
i relied on you
to make me smart
i relied on you
to heal my heart
love me tender
and hold me close to you
i relied on you
to help me through
i guess that goes on the long list
of stupid things i do
yeah, now it makes me lugh
to think i actually relied on you.
