I Rejoice In You
We met it was a twist of fate
I think you’re an angel who escaped from heavens gate
You came down to bring me a light
To wipe away my tears and calm my fright
And show me a world I’d never seen before
I felt peace and I wanted more
I’ve never felt better in all my days
You’ve helped me out in so many ways
I appreciate everything you do
I rejoice in you
Now that I can see the sun shining down
I’m much better off that you’re around
Now that I’ve gotten through the bad weather
I hope you’ll stick around forever
I’m a better person each day
What can I do to make you stay

My plans for the future are us together
To never be apart ever
Please just give me a sign
So we can begin our time
I’ll pull the all the feathers off your wings
So you can’t fly cause I love you more than anything

You say you were only here for a while
I’ll miss your beautiful smile
You filled me with the spirit now I can see
The care you showed was to set me free
Now you return to the clouds in the sky
