Once upon a time I was a legend at the police station, or so I was told by people in the know. I had done nothing wrong, *wink* *wink* *grin* and it's hard to build a case on rumor and innuendo. That was forty-six years ago. Now that I have fewer years ahead than behind, I can look back and honestly say I regret nothing. This story may be true, or not, we'll just have to wait for the memoir to come out!

I'm happy you enjoyed the poem. Move on from politics? Much to my mother's chagrin, the answer is no I have not moved on. LOL.

clever and witty, Chetta. Back during my college days, I had a wee bit of a reputation for organizing women's sit ins...Never actually was put in jail, but well...you know...the story is in fact in my book of memoir vignettes. :-) Enjoyed the read & have a great evening, Sara PS No regrets here either. :-)
