I Regret

I Regret
I Regret.
Anything I could contrive
would not have mattered anyway.
It would not have worked today.
I did not form ewe from the dust.
I can not force myself upon ewe.
I can not contrive the love within ewe.
I did not form ewe from ewe mothers womb.
I have never kissed ewe.
Or even held your hand.
But I have loved ewe.
From a distance, from a far and distant land.
I regret.
