I Recall
Yes my love I do recall,
The day I took you're hand,
Never thinking twice at all,
To be the only man...
A blessed union of two souls,
That finally found the other,
Holding you so grey and old,
And still you're only lover...
When the moment came I could've,
Made another choice,
But I'm glad the heart that would've,
Lies here with your voice...
Watching one last final sunset,
Rise to warm your face,
So I can never forget,
All the things I can't replace...
The part of me that's leaving,
Is the part of you that stays,
So I can keep believing,
As you slowly drift away....
